Use your iPad: As a Special Effects Camera
What makes photography fun is being able to express your creativity instantaneously. iPad brings the creative potential of special effects photography into everyone's hands, especially those of children.

Imagine, giving a nine year old a special effects camera.

I was amazed.  Our boy shared a video that he created on his iPad.

He'd taken a photograph of himself with every special effect lens he could find on his iPad and compiled them into a movie using iMovie.

Completely self-directed and unprompted.

I'm still amazed when I think of it.

There are dozens of effects in our favourite Photography Apps (see below).

These effects are essentially different 'lenses' to look through.

Some are sepia, others black and white. There's bubbles, sparkles, tri-colour, and more.

What makes photography fun is being able to express your creativity instantaneously.

iPad brings the creative potential of special effects photography into everyone's hands, especially those of children.

Using different lenses captures experiences differently.

A photo of a little girl dressed up as a fairy definitely calls for sparkles!

Bubbles are cool too.

My boys continually surprise us with their unique perspectives and photography styles.

iPad brings this creative medium straight into your life without having to go out and purchase an expensive camera with fancy lenses.

You'll find, after experimenting with several effects, there are uses for each of them.

You've got a powerful special effects camera using just your iPad and the right app.

Capture the moment of fun, laughter and beauty. Photography is in the hands of the beholder, thanks to iPad
