GREAT Maths app! Perfect for children and adults to test their addition, subtraction, multiplication and division plus much more!
This app is great for testing kids knowledge on almost any range of maths problems. We like being able to set the number of problems and the number-range. You can also fix a time limit which does help with variations in children's attention spans to ease frustration and maximising learning.
You can gradually increase the values or the number of questions slowly, making it slowly more difficult as they progress. I find it's also a useful way to test attention span. There is a chalk board to the left side of the maths problems so you can use it to calculate visually.
We use this app to see how the children are doing with their maths education. It is fully customisable and can be set for each student, it really is a teacher grade app helping to record progress and learning in easy to manage records.
To replicate this level of learning would takes months of time creating appropriate puzzles. These are already prepared puzzles, selected in the moment, in any combination from really simple to "you're kidding... what is the answer to that?" It adds to those intimate hand drawn maths puzzles you make up for your child and is a wonderful way to check learn while having fun with arithmetic!
MathBoard is a must-have for any home school. Teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems. Customisable options for bespoke learning. A wonderful way to check learn while having fun with arithmetic!
10 out of 10!
This is a 'study intensive' looking' app and it is not trying to entertain while teaching. Having said that the sheer volume of selections you can make and the interactivity of the app ensure it is both user friendly and fun!
