Keynote IS what presentation compilation should be. Intuitive, quick and easy & beautiful!
View on the App Store: Keynote - Apple
Features of Keynote:
Coming from a person who was a PowerPoint fanatic, Keynote is miles ahead. For several years I used to create weekly public speaking presentations using my PC laptop, all done using PowerPoint. Boy was I good at it. They were slick thanks to my mastery of custom animations and the speed at which I could find and insert the files I needed. People were always impressed.
Recently, my son and I were leading a course on iPad (iPad Basics & 101 Ways to Use Your iPad), and of course I couldn't possibly use a PC to create THAT presentation... so we used Keynote. I installed the App, went and sat outside on the verandah, and got to work...
Within half an hour I had to stop and take stock of my past. Oh My Goodness! It's fantastic! All those hours to create presentations... I couldn't believe how much time I spent doing something that took me no time at all... using just my fingertips!
Keynote IS what presentation compilation should be. Intuitive, quick and easy, with fully customisable animations, backgrounds, text sizes, colours and styles... it's a presenters dream come true. And, all on iPad! It was so easy to create that I could hardly believe it.
Any presenter, teacher or student creating a presentation, lesson, speech or report... this App is for you. My son put his part of the presentation together HIMSELF on his iPad and passed it over using DropBox. I only needed to adjust a few words (for spelling, he was only 8 at the time), and the job was done. Not only that, but he was empowered because HE created the part of the presentation he was to give - not me! This is NOT something that would have happened had I chosen to use a PC.
Fantastic, brilliant, classy, easy. Keynote rocks!
10 out of 10!
If your child needs to do a presentation in school, THIS APP is the one. My nine year old presented fifteen minutes to fifty people in the Albany Entertainment Centre, and created the presentation himself. Superb.
