Videography and Animation with iPad
I remember using my father's old 35mm video camera to make a short Star Wars movie when I was a child. It took me all day to make three minutes. A few days later, when I went to watch it again, I found it was completely overwritten by my sisters dance recital. This was a little disappointing! But no longer!!!

Who would've thought that making a movie, video, animation, or time lapse movie would be so easy!  I remember using my father's old 35mm video camera to make a short Star Wars movie when I was a child.  It took me all day to make three minutes. A few days later, when I went to watch it again, I found it was completely overwritten by my sisters dance recital. This was a little disappointing!  But no longer!!!

Now, I have found my sons are each creating their own types of movies on their iPads, faster, higher-quality, and embeddable on a website, with hardly any effort at all... Except for the flexing of their creative minds!

I for one, enjoy making stop motion movies using iStopMotion.  My eldest is a big fan of iMovie. My youngest son has a predisposition for documentary film making, and he's only six years old! Even my three-year-old daughter has made a funny, entertaining animation using Toontastic! The idea that this would even have been possible, would be unthinkable just three years ago.

Now, my son created a movie of our visit to the circus on his way home in the car, and by the next day the circus wanted to place it on their website to publicize their new show!  And he was only eight years old!  If an eight-year-old can do this with the HD video capabilities of the new iPad, this is going to put a lot of pressure on "professionals" To keep the bar nice and high... They are going to need to, as it will be lifted from the bottom up, regardless.

Here are our favorite iPad movie and animation, editing and remixing apps we have found out of the dozens we have evaluated from the iTunes store.
