Playing Multiplayer Games on 1 iPad

Multiplayer iPad Games Apps are fun!  Playing together with someone makes games quite challenging as you are competing agains another real human being on your iPad.  Whether it's Chess a Board Game or action-battle game, playing with someone keeps us in the real-world, while playing in the digital-realm.

"PvP can be broadly used to describe any game, or aspect of a game, where players compete against each other." ~ Wikipedia

Parents, be aware of children's skill levels when letting kids play against one another.

It's NOT GOOD for a little child to get whooped by an elder sibling - at least not for the younger one!  This is dis-empowering, and will not do the younger child's self-esteem any good.

However, if skill levels are relatively even (not exactly so), then each child will develop as they play. Monitor this, eh!

These games are games you can play with two or more people on the SAME iPad.  Click the link at the end of this sentence if you want to see what multi-player games apps using 2 or more iPad devices are available.

tChess Pro

This Chess app makes learning to play chess easy and improving your game fun!

This is a great iPad App for playing Chess. The touch-ability of the iPad and the App's amazing 3D graphics make our chess-playing experience almost equal playing on a real board... except the bonus of being able to move the board around and the pieces don't fall off! It's a great way to LEARN, practise and improve your chess game. Playing against an iPad opponent removes the 'competitive' game play aspect between players, a real family bonus! Of all the chess apps out there this is by far our favourite!
