Review: Where's My Water? (Disney)

Fun way to learning engineering, gravity, cause & effect!

View on the App Store: Where's My Water? - Disney

Features of Where's My Water? (Disney):

  • Complex problem solving and logic development skills.
  • Testing theories using cause and effect.
  • Providing a helping hand helps build compassion.
  • Physics, gravity and engineering concepts, exploration and understanding.
  • Unsupervised and uninterrupted play encourages independent thinking and enhances problem solving ability.

Where's my Water? is a really fun way of learning about engineering, gravity and cause & effect as you try and get the friendly alligator 'Swampy' enough water for a shower in his underground bathtub!

This game is about guiding LIQUIDS around.

The virtual water and other liquids displayed in this game are unlike anything we've seen before on a gaming platform! Digital liquid acts like physical liquid... the ability to manipulate the course and volume of liquids... and have it ACTUALLY move like a liquid... truly fascinating.

It gives you the experience of being able to manipulate 'animated' water just like controlling an animated movie... beautiful! This beautifully animated game by Disney has over 200 unique levels, each building on the knowledge gained in the previous puzzle levels.

From as early as 3 or 4 years old your child can experiment with physics in a fun way.

The controls are easy to use and the graphics are great enough to capture the attention of the children and inspire them to solve physics puzzles while 'playing'.

The levels become increasingly more difficult of course with the upper levels taking quite a bit of brain power and logic to solve.

Engaging iPad game, lots of friendly playtime.

Our RATING:

10 out of 10!

Age Group:

3-Adult

There are a few scary scenes at the start of some of the levels, you should watch this with children under 5.

We've had this app since it was launched in Australia and it's been regularly updated to include additional levels, keeping us heading back for more virtual liquid playtime...
