Review: Lyrebird Park
This educational story will make your little ones laugh...at the same time they are finding out all about lyrebirds (and a little about human behaviour too).
View on the App Store: Lyrebird Park - Susan Syddall
Features of Lyrebird Park:
It all starts out with a sign: 'Welcome to Lyrebird Park', which has been painted over with 'DO NOT ENTER Lyrebird Park', by the Lyrebird.
The information at the beginning of the App sets the context of the story, Lyrebirds are very shy and they prefer to be alone, away from humans. They can also make the sounds of other animals and machinery...and so the story is set!
Watch the excellently expressive illustrations bring the clever and funny story to life!
A picnic in the Park for Mum, Dad and baby changes fast as Lyrebird chases them away with mimicry. Pretending to be a lion, bear, crocodile and a snake the Lyrebird manages to frighten off the family. Only the baby can see what's really going on. It is very funny.
