Review: Good Night

Adorably cute children's 'peek a boo' book that teaches your toddler or young child to count from 1-10 as they find the hidden animals.

View on the App Store: Good Night - B. & J. MoƟmann

Features of Good Night:

  • Exciting and easy to use for toddlers and young children.
  • Learn to count from 1 -10 in a fun and explorative way.
  • See the forest animals in their environment.
  • Little Bear is a very friendly role-model for your little one.
  • Finding the hidden animals enhancing visual perception and goal achievement.

We love this lovely children's book, it's a great bed time story, although it is popular at other times of day!

Little bear and his toy bear cycle along a colourful pathway through the forest on the way home to bed.  In a very friendly way, they stop along the way to find the animals and birds hiding around them.

Featured are the numbers are 1 - 10.  At each number the corresponding amount of animals have to be discovered.  Foxes, owls, frogs, bunnies, sheep, hogs plus more all pop out from under, on and behind things.

When your child finds each animal, by tapping on them, Little Bear counts aloud and says "Goodnight 3 bunnies", and then he moves on to the next scene. You cannot find the hidden animals if Little Bear is still moving on his cycle, this is great for demonstrating patience.

It is a little tricky for very small toddlers, but so much fun to do with them!  Older toddlers and young children can find the hidden creatures, and enjoy the challenge. The final reward comes in the form of a special hugs from Mummy Bear at then end of the pathway... what could be better!! This simple book has cute illustrations, plenty of colour, lots of interactivity and is narrated in a nice British English lady.

It is an appealing App for little ones!  Pure innocence!
