Review: Essential Anatomy
Everything you need to know about the human body at your fingertips...or should I say your distal phalanges.
View on the App Store: Essential Anatomy - 3D4Medical.com, LLC
Features of Essential Anatomy:
A detailed 3D interactive view of the human body and main systems teaching you how the body works and what is really happening under our skin!
Starting with the skeletal body you can view every body bone and how they interconnect. Next view the arteries, veins, respiratory and nervous systems, connective tissue and 7 levels of muscle which can be added one by one.
You can isolate each body structure and each system, highlight to view it better by fading or hiding the others around it. Click on the 'i' for fully detailed information about each structure including images showing it from several different angles including superior, interior, anterior, posterior and lateral. It comes complete with the correct pronunciation and full Latin names.
You can search for any body part or system individually and add your own bookmarks to make viewing and studying easier.
The developers have thought of everything in this intricate highly informative App. You have the ability to add notes by both typing and drawing, email any screen at any time, change the view to a white background or set for the left hander!
You can set the bespoke quiz to either Drag and Drop or Multiple Choice. Choose what you want to be tested on from all the content by setting it at the beginning. The quizzes can be timed.
I wish I'd had this App and iPad technology during my school years of biology and I am very glad I have it now as a mother and a home educator. Our children will evolve so much faster with quality resources such as this.
Perfect for any high school child, for the home school or family library and a must for all medical students and medical and alternative medical professionals.
10 out of 10!
The HELP VIDEO is an excellent way to learn about how to get the best from this App, although it is so user friendly that you will understand it even without watching the tutorial. Younger children will need adult supervision. Reading required for full benefit.
