we can make music on our iPad, trim it, edit it, add it to a movie or send it to our computers via eMail, DropBox or iTunesSync. We've mixed an entire song (son age 5), made a music video (son age 6), recorded our little lady baby singing (age 2), and even captured the sound of my grandfather's cuckoo clock from almost fifteen thousand miles away and remixed it into a tune! Yes, that's right, Sound Shaker is one of my favourite Apps. It was one of the first Apps we installed on our iPad. Since the App Store began, this app is still on my iPad. It's fascinating.

After downloading and installing several audio recording apps, I found that this was the one I chose when I needed to make sure I got the recording right the first time. Having it right here on the iPad makes editing it, remixing it, and sharing it with my friends or family via email or social networking really easy! Real-time display of recording and an automatic pause feature, which automatically stops the recording when there is no sound heard, feature makes this app very user friendly.

You really can make your own orchestra from a full range of instruments, the touch screen technology of iPad makes it so realistic! There are also pre-recorded tracks to use to get you started and you can record your own voice and integrate it to make your own music.

Create beats & music with this colourful easy to use iPad App that even young ones can use! Beatwave is an App that I'm glad is on my iPad. The beautiful interface and simple touch controls offer an easy and melodious way to relax and 'make some tunes'. Behind the scenes you can alter many of the sound variables, have four 'tracks' of sound going at once, and change the way they relate to each other. Magical!
